Crocheted Bath Scrubbie

I've been wanting to crochet a bath scrubbie.
This one is nice and full.
I used Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn in seaspray color.
It didn't take too long to make, but it was a little hard on the hands.
I need to try it out to see how well it scrubs and launders.
I'll let you know the results.

Knitted Ruffle Scarf

I know these scarves have been around awhile, but I just learned how to make one.
I don't knit, but I can crochet.
A neighbor showed me how to knit one of these recently.
It was so easy and came out really cute.
It's about 5' long and I used Red Heart Sashay yarn.
There are tons of videos on how to make these.
I need to make a few for Christmas gifts :)

Crocheted Headband ~ Ear Warmer w/Flower

With Fall in the air and shorter days, chilly mornings & cool nights, it's time to pick up my crocheting again.

I'm really happy with how this headband/ear warmer turned out. It was easy to make and worked up quickly.

I like the dark teal blue yarn.

I wish I looked good in hats and headbands. I'd be wearing them all the time if I did :)

Crocheted Lip Balm Tube Holder Key Ring

I like lip balm in the tubes rather than waxy chapstick.

I ♥ 'Neosporin Lip Health' moisturizing balm with sunscreen.

I wanted a way to keep it handy so I came up with a crocheted holder that's also a key ring.

It's easy to crochet. I'm offering my pattern (PDF) for sale at my Etsy

Kufi Hat with Flower

This hat was pretty easy to crochet.

The flower is a silk one that I took apart and reassembled.

I added an embroidered covered button ~ the blank from my Fringed Button Cover Alphabet ~ for the flower center and attached it to the hat usng a large bobby pin.

I'm hoping my son's girlfriend likes it.

Crocheted Flower Hot Pads

These were so much easier than they look. I made sets using these and the crocheted pot holders I showed in this post

The Flower Hot Pad pattern can be found HERE

Both work up quick and are easy patterns.

Baby Blanket

A friend told me about Lion Brand's 'Pound of Love' yarn and how she makes baby blankets for a local charity.

The pattern is on the back of the label and is sooooo easy to do and works up really fast.

It makes a pretty blanket.

Use a 40% coupon @ Joanns and it's under $5.00 to make.

I LOVE Pincushions

Pincushions are one of my favorites things. Just about anything can be made into a pincushion. I have them all over my sewing room.
I like to crochet, but I can only do simple things. I wish I had the time to learn to crochet better.
There's not enough time in the day to do all the things I want to.

I did make these 2 Cacti pincushions. They were easy. The pattern was in an issue of Crochet Today from last fall.

We have a large cactus collection - real cacti.
I'll post photos of some of them this summer.
