A few tree branches, scraps of cedar boards, one husband & a Sunday afternoon . . . put them all together and a few hours later I have a new planter bench.
When I get plants in it and set out in the backyard, I'll post a pic.
It really needs to warm up, I'm itching to get digging in my flower garden

I love this! Very cool idea! I just made a pair of old boot planters that I love for my deck steps, now I'm gonna show my honey this & have him make me one... ya know this would make a great Mothers Day gift! Thanks for the idea :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! It looks so fun & practical, esp. for plants that need a bit of support
ReplyDeleteAt our farmers Market a couple of years ago, one fellow was selling worm bins that were very similar to a planter 0n legs - about this size with slots in the middle for a hardware cloth divider, you filled one side with kitchen scraps & a handful of red wigglers, then when one side was full (an inch or so of stuff daily) began on the other! A little tray under would catch the liquid gold!! http://northwestredworms.com/bins.aspx
so creative!
